{"id":667,"date":"2024-02-15T12:50:23","date_gmt":"2024-02-15T12:50:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ruwalocalboard.co.zw\/?p=667"},"modified":"2024-02-15T12:51:18","modified_gmt":"2024-02-15T12:51:18","slug":"ruwa-local-board-appoints-substantive-town-engineer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ruwalocalboard.co.zw\/index.php\/2024\/02\/15\/ruwa-local-board-appoints-substantive-town-engineer\/","title":{"rendered":"Ruwa Local Board appoints substantive Town Engineer"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Ruwa Local Board is delighted to welcome on board Engineer Madelene Makombe-Pfuwayi who joins Council as Town Engineer with effect from 1 December 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Engineer Pfuwayi brings a wealth of experience from various sectors which will be beneficial to Ruwa Local Board and holds a Degree in Civil and Water Engineering from NUST and an Executive Masters in Business Administration with MSU. She is a registered professional Civil and Water Engineer with ECZ and ZIE as a corporate member<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She started her career at ZPC Hwange Power Station as a Civil Engineer Intern. She went on to work for Mutare City Council as a Graduate Engineer. She later joined UNOPS as the Associate Civil Engineer in resposnse to the Cyclone Idai.&nbsp; The Engineer later joined TelOne as the Clerk of Works where she managed properties owned and rented by TelOne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;From there, she then joined Tsapo Group of companies as the Group Civil Engineer\/Project Manager; a position she held before joining Ruwa Local Board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We wish Engineer Pfuwayi all the best in her new role.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ruwa Local Board is delighted to welcome on board Engineer Madelene Makombe-Pfuwayi who joins Council as Town Engineer with effect from 1 December 2023.
